Had a lot of fun at the virtual AAAI Fall Symposium on AI for HRI, chatting with folks about \psi and seeing a lot of great research.

October 2020

Was happy to be able to attend both ICMI and IVA this year (easier when virtual!), where we exhibited the latest on \psi. Also had a great time chatting with some sharp graduate students at the ICMI Doctoral Consortium.

Alongside Daniel McDuff and Sara Smith, we organized this year's fantastic Microsoft Research AI Breakthroughs event. 80 top PhD students were invited to participate in this two-day virtual event, including fireside chats, talks, a poster session, breakout discussion sessions, and chances for networking.

Met with graduate students in the ANIMATAS program and presented my research as part of the KTH Summer School on Virtual Characters. Really cool program!

Very nice time visiting UCSD and speaking at the RoboGrads seminar about situated interaction.

Been busy demoing our soon-to-be-released \psi toolkit of situated interaction components to fellow Microsoft folks (including Bill Gates!) and at HRI 2019 in Daegu, Korea.
